About · HackPro LLC

Built on written authorization.

Most companies discover their weaknesses the expensive way. A test done properly, before an incident, costs a fraction of one — and is far easier to explain to a board in advance than afterwards.

Three members, one company

Member-managed under a written operating agreement. The titles are the roles it defines.

Rob Moretz.

Robert West Moretz

Operating Member

Rob runs the company. He scopes and signs every engagement, is merchant of record for the store, and is the named contact on the rules of engagement for any test.

Karuneya.

Karuneya

Sales Member

Karuneya leads sales and marketing, working remotely from Canada. She is usually the first person you speak to about scope, timing and price.

Kailash Parshad.

Kailash Parshad

Passive Member

Kailash is an investor and nothing else. He holds an equity interest and votes on ownership matters — admitting members, distributions, amending the agreement — and may inspect the books. He performs no operational work: he does not scope, test, write reports or handle client systems or client data, and he has no role in any engagement.

Client work is delivered by the Operating Member. A passive interest in HackPro carries no access to client systems, client data or engagement material — that separation is written into the operating agreement, not just practised. Every member votes on major decisions, and nothing that changes the company happens without all three agreeing in writing.

What we will not do

Test without authorization

No engagement starts without a signed scope. We will not "just take a look" as a favour.

Sell a scan as a test

Automated output with a cover page is not a penetration test. If a scan is all you need, we will say so.

Inflate severity

A theoretical issue is reported as theoretical, even when the bigger number would be easier to invoice.

Name you without asking

No client logos here unless the client asked for them. Discretion is part of what you are buying.
